Sara Revilla, President and Co-founder, earned an MBA from Tec de Monterrey, a BA from Univeridad Iberoamericana, two leadership diplomas. Besides being an entrepreneur, she is expert in customer experience, client satisfaction and assisting client companies in understanding their cients’ expectations. She has twenty years of experience in areas such as customer experience, marketing, sales, market research, client success, and supply chain processes. Sara currently works for Mediallia, she has worked for companies such as IBM, Brightstar, Starmedia, and the Indiana Trade Office in Mexico.
Luis Doménech, Co-founder and Managing Director, holds a CPA degree from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City. Prior to establishing MILA, Luis worked for Mexican and international consulting companies specialized in market research and project development and worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young. Mr. Doménech worked for 20 years as trade representative for the State of Oklahoma achieving over US$270 million in exports from assisted companies; he collaborated in recruiting the largest Mexican greenfield investment project to the State and helped strengthen ties between the State and Mexico’s Government. He also represented the State of Colorado and acted as commerical advisor for the Masachusetts Trade Office in Mexico. Mr Doménech coordinated three governor and one lieautenant governor-led missions, two major lead missions and 50+ industry specific trade missions to Mexico and Latin America. Mr. Doménech currently acts as the Maryland Trade Representative, assisting companies to tap into opportunities in Mexico and increase their exports to Mexico. Mr. Doménech has assisted over 350 companies initiating or expanding their exports to Mexico.
Roberto Velázquez, Consulting Director at MILA, holds a degree in International Business from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and a dimploma in digital marketing. With twelve years of experience in market research and assisting companies in tapping into specific sectors of interest in Mexico and Latin America. He is expert in international supply chain procedures and regulations. Mr. Velázquez has coordinated matchmaking programs for Canadian and American delegations in areas such as agro-industries, cleantech, ICT, bio-sciences, mining, oil and gas, education and edtech, e-commerce, automotive and aerospace, among others. He worked for Amazon Mexico leading the Marketplace Hardlines Category and the consumables category for Prime, including the foods and beverages category launch in Mexico. His responsibilities included account management with brands and suppliers, logistics and demand planning. He also worked for COPARMEX, where he performed market research, event coordination and political analysis for their international division.
Carolina Soto, Consulting Manager at MILA holds a Marketing degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and studies of English Language at the King George School in Vancouver and at Global Village School in Victoria. She joined the MILA team in 2012 and has assisted in the production of over 310 market research reports for international companies seeking to enter the Mexican and Latin American markets. She has also coordinated over 1,000 individual meetings between American, Canadian, and European exporters and Mexican buyers or potential distributors. She has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to reach from C-level executives in Mexico’s most important companies, to operational or purchasing areas in SME’s. She has vast expertise and contacts in areas such as retail, food and beverage, oil and gas, renewable energies, automotive, aerospace, clean technologies and industrial machinery, among others. Prior to joining MILA, she worked in the International Affairs Division of the State of Mexico Government, where she assisted in social communication and event coordination.
